Topic tags/keywords: tablesaw blade dado stack

$80, $100 shipped.

This is a high quality set, model number CMT 230.020.06, with nice hard case, all shims, chippers, protective dividers, and instruction sheet (useful mostly for the chart to determine combinations of chippers and shims to get a particular size cut.) I’ve used this set for a total of only about 1 hour of cutting, all on cherry or poplar (no abrasive woods like Anigre, no sappy softwoods.) The set is virtually new. Width of cut is from 1/4” to 29/32”. I’m selling it because it is not usable on my new SawStop saw, which requires use of an 8” diameter set.

This set is particularly good for modestly powered saws, as it does not require as much power as larger diameter stacks. How deep will it cut? Whatever your saw’s depth of cut with a 10” blade is, subtract 2” (difference in blade radii.) For most saws this will be a little over 1” (3+” minus 2”). Full disclosure, this set will make fairly flat cuts but does indeed leave little “bat ears”, so is not ideal for cutting box joints or other exposed dadoes that need to be pretty.

I’m in central NJ between Trenton and Princeton, and can meet nearby to transact for cash, or with a PayPal payment will ship USPS 2-day priority.
