I have just learned our friend Bob Putman (Grizzman), from Verbena Alabama, passed away this morning. I do not know any details at this time.

Grizzman was greatly loved by his family, friends and community. He was a great friend to many on this forum.

Please keep his wife, Susan, and family in your thoughts and prayers.

We will miss you Grizzman. Rest in peace, my friend.

Oh no, he was a frequent commenter and he was quite conversational with me on this site. We travel a lot and he invited me to stop in at some point for a bbq. I planned on doing that at some point when I was in his neck of the woods. He was a character that you couldn’t help but like here. I will miss him.

-- The smell of wood, coffee in the cup, the wife let's me do my thing, the lake is peaceful.
