Topic tags/keywords: question tip

Hello everyone, was looking for some help on wood or tree identification. I want to cut small boards out of it for small wood projects , but i just dont know my tree identifications. Its probably easy for most everyone here. Thats why i am here. :) thank you

Silver maple is my guess.

I also believe it to be a soft maple.

Yeah thanks…i guess i can use it for small wood projects like trinket boxes and what ever else. Was hiping fir hardwood but oh well. Thanks again

I made a rocking chair with silver maple and walnut. It will be suitable for something.
