Listed on CL is a worksharp 2000 model. Old generation. Can anyone comment on the differences between this and the current model or offer opinion on if it is a good buy vs a current model ot a set of dmt duosharps?

I have one. You need to use caution when using because the disk is rotating much faster than with the 3000. So it will not only cut faster, but also generate more heat. So take is slow use less pressure. I have had no problems with mine.
