Topic tags/keywords: swap theme 2017 event

Hello everyone, I just wanted to take a quick survey to see what everyone would like to make for the next swap theme. It will also give me an idea of the number of participants who are planning on participating. I will keep the link live for the next 2 weeks and then post the results. Please pm me if you have any questions or concerns.

Thanks for taking the reins Josh!

I’d suggest making it ‘knives’ instead of ‘layout knives’. There was a lot of interest in a general knife swap. Maybe add a mallet/hammer category too?

Just my $.02!

I sure will, thanks Kenny. That is sort of why I put the “other” category, but this way is good too… lol.

Jeff’s retired now so just give him everyone’s name and he’ll handle it.

Thanks Josh, I imagine I’ll be in on this depending on the category.

Brutal we can only pick one. Plus we can’t see the results. All reasonable unless you’re me who wants to pick more than one and see results.

Makes it more exciting I suppose.

Lol, I kept it to one vote so people couldn’t just keep voting to swing it. I’m sure I’ll have some questions for you vets who have ran this in the past

Voted for mid-century modern mallet swap :)

Kidding, I actually voted for something else but I think it would be cool to throw in a random requirement for whatever is chosen … must have hickory somewhere … or has to be minimalist style … or must have a circle … or inlay … must have a cupholder (that’s a joke). Just something to add a little twist and push us out of our usual mindset.
