Topic tags/keywords: miter saw fence

Hello, I am seeking information on a Ryobi TS1341 Miter Fence. The saw is only about a year old and the cuts are great but not at 90 degrees unless I cut a long piece. I used a large square and found that the center of both side of the miter fence on the inside (center) are note square, but rather angled in. From end to end, the fence is square. Is this how all miter fences are? If I try to make a short cut off of an end of a piece of wood and hold the piece to the fence, the cut will not be square. Thanks in advance.

Have you checked out the Ryobi web site? Your fence should be square the whole way, not angled in. If this is a manufacturing defect it should be covered under warranty. I’d contact your vendor.
