I recently purchased one sheet of 1/2" Columbia Forest Products Birch plywood for the big box store. The price was good, $29.00, so what did I have to loose.

The 4×6 sticker asking me to post a comment on the plywood left a terrible, gummy residue, so I sent my comments.

I received a reply on Saturday with in a couple of hours.

Columbia Forest Products went above and beyond to correct this issue. There was no question, they have their customers best interest at the top of their list.

Thanks CFP, you did a great job and won my business.

I buy only CFP plywood (except baltic birch). While that is because that's what my hardwood dealer carries, I'm very glad it's the brand he chooses. The quality is as good as any available, and so far has always been USA produced. Never had a problem where I would contact the company, though I had asked for dealer locations. Top notch outfir for sure.

So…what did they reply. The sticky tags and such are a real pain and can cause finishing issues.

That's what I was wondering too! I use xylene (goof off) to remove the adhesive and try to put that spot in a non-visible spot in case there are finish issues. It's not a major problem but, it's still a PITA that takes time to remove and could possibly causes finishing issues.
