Topic tags/keywords: air dried lumber question

Does anyone know of a source for small quantities (a couple of boards or more) of AIR DRIED white and red oak that would ship in the 48 states? I need some for steam bending and it’s harder to find than I thought it would be.

Thanks, Don

PM me with the dimensions you are looking for and I’m sure I can help. If I remember correctly lumber around 20%MC is ideal for steam-bending.

All the red oak you want, unplaned, air dried, $2.00 BF. I am coming to Fort Wayne in early December and will deliver it to you or meet you at a convienient spot. Send me the details. Come to think of it, I may have cut offs big enough. Send me an address or e-mail. Tracey615@Suddenlink.net
