I’ve just run across what is now number one on my Christmas wish list. I’m told it will shoot a 16D nail through a 2×4 at 200 yards. Unfortunately, the gun control folks got a hold of it and made them remove the full auto mode.

I’ve often joked about using my nail gun to kill raccoons, ground hogs and other varmints on our property. I think this “nail gun” could really do the job.

You could build a fence around the yard while sitting in a lawn chair if you could find some brave soul to hold the boards for you.

Ship a couple of these babies into California, and watch the gun control freaks put the last carpenters on the dole.

CharlieM1958,
I see Purplevs’ observation raises some concerns-but I thought that battery served actually as a High Capacity Magazine which stored over 300 rounds of 16D framing nails and offered support like a tripod, while the hole in the rear of the stock accepted the air hose from the compressor which supplied sufficient air to achieve muzzle velocity of just over 4120fps for the nails. I believe you are supposed to use the tungsten carbide nails for projectiles. Thats how my nailer is configured anyway and it will nail things at a distance with precision!

Maybe you’re right, Ken.

Hmmm. I could start nailing my boxes together.

I prefer a 3 round burst over full auto anyway.

Collapsible stock for close in work.

The only thing missing is a cold beer.

Does Porter Cable make a version?

Helluvawreck, I like your idea of building a fence. I have a neighbor I would love to talk into holding the boards for me. I’m a terrible shot, but with enough beers, I’m sure I would get better.

How long is the “cooling off” period “wait” to buy one? Has the NRA begun a campaign for this? Do they require concealed carry permits….ROFL…...I could use something like that to get rid of those nasty ground squirrels and gophers that tear up my yard and gardens…much better then my airgun…LOL. Brings a new meaning to “nail that sucker”.....lol.

Hey, I think I need one of those for the squirrels when they steal my green apples.
