Brent, ^ (click that button where the little arrow is pointing)
To upload pics from your computer to the site all you need to do is click that button on the far right in the cluster above .. ( you can seee the B – I – little chain thingy – then the piece of paper) right next to where you see show formatting reference.

Click that little paper thingy with the triangle cut out of the bottom

Then click browse, that will open your picture file, find the pic and click OK.

Martin just added this feature and no longer does the pic need to be resized.

Brent, the pictures I posted in my projects, showed up in my gallery. Well some of them did. I don’t know if there is some kind of delay for security concerns or what. Have you posted any pictures of projects yet? Now having asked that I will go and look at your profile.
Brent, after looking at your profile, there are three pictures in your gallery, :-)
The add picture icon only appears in the posting box, that kind of confused me as I was reading your post.
I too would like to know how long it takes for a project that I posted to have the picture also show up in my gallery.

The Gallery only displays photos that are uploaded to your Projects. It’s a special photo display application that is used for only that purpose.

Photos to be displayed in blog posts, forum posts and in the text sections of Project articles, Shop articles and comments on all areas must be uploaded to third party photo hosting site(s) and linked in the post or comment

Brent, posting pictures here has changed so ignore the link to GaryK’s blog post. It is no longer applicable since pictures can be uploaded directly from your computer for projects, workshops, blog and forum topics now. To post a project just click on the My Lumberjocks tab at the top right corner of the page. Scroll down to the new projects tab and follow the instructions for a new project. Once the project post is completed it is automatically added to your gallery as well.
