Hello All

I have an old Delta/Rockwell 24” Scroll Saw that I bought years ago at a surplus sale for $25. It was missing the blade plunger assembly, and I studied the parts diagram enough to sort of kludge one together. Last week I found a real one on EBay and bought it for $75. It’s great, and I’m glad to have it as it will make the machine actually usable.

Now, the only thing missing is the locking mechanism for the plunger assembly. I’ve looked all over and can’t even get a decent picture of it, so I was wondering if maybe someone who has one of these might snap three or four views of the following two parts (Parts diagram #430-02-651-0002):

Parts Diagram #24 – 430-02-105-0001 – Lock Sleeve (RH)
Parts Diagram #28 – 430-02-105-0002 – Lock Sleeve (LH)

Best I can tell, they look the same, but can’t be certain. I think they’re not complex parts and that with an actual photo to work with I can make them. The rest of the assembly I can put together easily enough, I think.

Can anyone help?

Join the forum a OWWM.org (Old Woodworking Machines) and look in the BOYD (Bring Out you Dead) classified ads. You can also post a WTB (Wanted to Buy) ad for parts you are looking for. The OWWM forum is a great resource for learning about your machine and how to bring it back to like. The sister site, Vintagemachinery.org is a great resource for manuals and information on manufacturers.

Have your say...
