I agree with you about being a down to earth site.
It is a place to get addicted to quite easily too. I wouldn’t be here if the people were nasty and arrogant, to me they are helpful and inspiring.
Now your here, your a Lumberjock and can pass on some of your wealth of knowledge to people like me who have only just begun.

Glad you could join us Cabmaker. I’m pretty new myself and compared to other forums/sites I’ve visited, LJs is by far the best. I am just a beginning hobbyist, but I find LJs to be full of friendly, helpful people whose projects are an inspiration.
