Topic tags/keywords: drum sander table top marin

Hi everybody,

I’m finishing up a table top and don’t really have the shop space for a drum sander. If I did, I’d get the Supermax 19-38, but that’s not looking likely at the time. Anyone in Marin county or beyond have one they’re willing to let me run a 36” wide maple/walnut table top through?

Thanks in advance for any help. Always a helpful group of folks on here.

You might check with the local High School(s). They may have one that you could use.
Just a thought.

Some uptown hardwoods dealer in the bay
area is bound to have a 52” wide belt they
will run a table through for $40 or so.

Some higher end cabinet shops have such
sanders in house.

Have your say...
