newer to wood working and starting to get the tools required to do what i want. i found a 3 year old Dewalt DW735 planner on Craigslist for $350 , the pictures look brand new and they said it was used hardly at all. whats your guys opinion on this deal ? or is there something new around the same price that would work as well

Thanks ahead of time - Kaveman

Not bad IF in mint condition. You could probably wait and get one for less…....but then you’d have to wait.
I’d offer $275 or $300, but would probably pay $350 if I really wanted the planer.

If it comes with the extention tables then pretty good. Retail is 600 for just the planer and 650 with tables. I’d offer 300 and take it.
