Have opportunity to purchase grizzly 24 inch drum sander. Beem using jet 16/32 for some time. Guy wants 800 is that reasonable. Or do i even need a sander that size. Its also 30 amp 5 hp

What’s the condition? Also, is it a single or double drum sander? If it’s the double drum, it’s a good price.
For single, it’s towards the higher end I would pay, but still not a bad price.

Either way, if you get it, get the hook and loop conversion kit. It’s worth it.

I’d save my money and get the jet I own one and it’s sweet and well built. I use mine all the time a lot more than I would have imagined.

It depends on what you are using it for.You are bound to just 24 in with a closed end.The 16-32 is an open end so you have the capability to do 32 in.
