Topic tags/keywords: question lathe I have a 8×24 dulap lathe. I need a face plate. The spindle is not threaded. Can anyone tell me where to find one at? |

Hi Jordan, My old Craftsman has a 3/4’’ X 16 thread, so I had no problem getting an adapter. Did you check the chuck manufacturers, to see if you can get a set screw type adapter? Otherwise maybe you can buy a threaded adapter, & have it bored out to your shaft size, & also drill, & tap for a setscrew.
