Topic tags/keywords: rip fence fence tablesaw question tip

I am looking at replacing the fence on my Delta contractor saw and I am between the Biesemeyer and a Vega fence.

My question is do any of you have the Vega fence? Do you like it and would you buy it again? etc.

I am looking for a good fence and the Biesemeyer is a great fence but for the price I am leaning toward the Vega. From looking at the pictures and reading the reviews the fence looks to be decent and is considerably less money. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

I think I would just upgrade my saw for the price of a new fence. You could sell your saw and buy a used cabinet saw for what a biesemeyr fence cost for your saw. The Vega fences I’ve used are far inferior to Biesmeyers fences.

Big fan here of the Unifence. It does things you can’t, as far as I know, do with Biesmeyer like retract it behind the blade for crosscutting short pieces for one.
