Well I finally purchased my compressor

I finally purchased my compressor. I went with the Puma, looks like a good unit. Review to follow. Howerver there is no shut off valve after the regulator, just a quick disconnect. All my other compressors had this shut off valve. I am thinking of removing the quick disconnect and addeding the valve then replace the qucik disconnect. Anyone else have a compresspor with out the shut off valve?

Gregn home \| projects \| blog 1643 posts in 1149 days #2 posted 948 days ago	Congrats on the Puma as well. What size did you get? Mine is the 60 gal. and had the valve on it. A suggestion that I did with mine was to remove the pit cock valve on the bottom for draining and replace with a Ball cock valve for easier draining. I put a elbow and then a nipple then the valve so all I had to do was to reach down to drain the tank. -- I don't make mistakes, I have great learning lessons, Greg

Raymond home \| projects \| blog 665 posts in 1892 days #4 posted 948 days ago	Thanks for the suggestion on the drain valve, I got the 20 gallon 5 HP, it’s been 2 days now and no leaks still holding at 135 psi. Review to follow as soon as I get some pictures. -- Ray
