I finally purchased my compressor. I went with the Puma, looks like a good unit. Review to follow. Howerver there is no shut off valve after the regulator, just a quick disconnect. All my other compressors had this shut off valve. I am thinking of removing the quick disconnect and addeding the valve then replace the qucik disconnect. Anyone else have a compresspor with out the shut off valve?

Thanks Shopguryl, I think I will put one on. I can’t imagine why they do not come with one already installed.

Congrats on the Puma as well. What size did you get? Mine is the 60 gal. and had the valve on it. A suggestion that I did with mine was to remove the pit cock valve on the bottom for draining and replace with a Ball cock valve for easier draining. I put a elbow and then a nipple then the valve so all I had to do was to reach down to drain the tank.

Thanks for the suggestion on the drain valve, I got the 20 gallon 5 HP, it’s been 2 days now and no leaks still holding at 135 psi. Review to follow as soon as I get some pictures.
