What's the most "useless" thing you bought for your shop"?.........

For me, a panel carrier. One handed gripper for lifting and carrying plywood or other panels.
Works fine if the panel is only 20 inches high, otherwise you have to raise your arm to where it’s unbearable and uncomfortable to use. Only cost $30 so not out that much.

This may sound funny but; handsaws. With two separated shoulders, I have no use for then at all. Fortunately they where freebies. And a HF router/shaper. Since I made my router table, I never use it. It works fine, it is just to high for my new low rider stature these days.

I’ll have to admit that my scroll saw is never used. This fact “bugs” me, because it is a high quality tool. Doubling my consternation is the fact that I have duplicated this tool in both Gainesville and the U.P.

Maybe someday I’ll be glad I have it. I hope so.

I did not know what it was, I thought it may have been a coopering tool due to the convex sole.
It may still be of use as one of my Jolly rouges wants to make an African style drum.

Hey, good one! Haven’t seen that blum jig for awhile, I have one too (as well as the 12 Volt Pc drill).

Wonder where mine is? I use mostly full extension slides now (Accuride) so the jig won’t work with them.

After everyone stopped laughing, I also saw the funny side.
Then there was the forks in the front, again, crash!
Now I get others to move the 8×4 sheets.

A mortising attachment for my drill press I’ve had it 3 1/2 years and it’s still in the box.
My Bosch sliding 10” miter saw I haven’t used it since my wife got me the super accurate MiterSet (www.miterset.com) to set my table saw miter gauge for Christmas 2 years ago. I’ll think of more later probably and post them too.

Three things, a pc4212 DT jig, a Woodline joint jig and a Woodcraft roll around base.
Since I bought a Incra LS-25 I have no use for either the PC or the Woodline and since I discovered I can use the furniture dollies at HF for roll arounds I don’t use it. Frankly my 14”grizz 555 is more stable on the HF than the Woodcraft.
Anybody got something to trade? I live in Florida

Alright: if I had to pick something, it’s the three mini-plane set I bought at HF. I swore I’d use the HECK out of ‘em, and … if I ever OPEN them … I probably will ;-)

I purchased a Zyloc vise at a tool show years ago, I do not remember how many now. Still in the box, I’l never use it I guess. It must have had some appeal or I would not have bought it. I also have a dovetail jig still in the box.
