Topic tags/keywords: table wobbly rustic refurbishing finishing joining

Good morning, I have been working on my first Farm table with the trestle base, made out of reclaimed wood. It measures 72”x34” with 4×4’s as the legs. I did not want an apron on the table and so I used the metal table leg straight top plate to attach the legs, now I have a wobble lengthwise. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be great, thank you!

How do the legs meet the floor? If it’s a flat board you may get some wobble. Thats why many trestle tables sit on feet.

Attach some little blocks of wood to raise the four corners of the flat boards off the floor to make feet.
