Topic tags/keywords: festool sale price

Time for the Festool annual sale, otherwise known on their resellers’ sites as “buy now before the 20XX Festool price increase!”

Anyone else less than comfortable with this annual event?

They are way out of my price range.

There’s absolutely nothing I like about Festool’s price control. Does nothing but line a lot of folks pockets.

That however has been their model from beginning of time. The only “SALE” I ever experienced was when a new tool was introduced, or combo buys.

I have to admit their stuff is good and ergonomics is off the charts and Dust collection is just perfect, and it lasts forever. So you cry once.

Sadly I think others though are taking note from them. Someone else posted in another thread that Powermatic is picking up on that model and not having a spring sale like they usually do and further told the poster they will not be doing any more sales like the 10% off (which is the usual). I’m totally bummed as I wanted the 209hh, and now rethinking and going a diff direction.
