I have a Porter Cable planer and it recently has been leaving the last 2-21/2 inches of the boards thinner than the rest of the board. I have adjusted the knives and even replaced them. I am wondering if anyone else has ran into this issue with this planer and if it is a common problem.
Thank you

Your output support is too low, as the board exits the planer it is drooping a little which lifts the end of the board and causes it to cut deeper. This is what is called snipe. Your infeed and outfeed need to be just slightly higher that level with the planer bed.
