Ok, so need some feedback for much I should spend on these items -or I guess if I made out with a good deal :)

6pc Stanley 750 Socket Chisels $80

No. 4 Bailey and No. 220 hand planes $30 total for both

Crown Tools marking gauge $10

All are crack free and solid with typical oxidation

This guy had two racks of clamps, and old disston panel saw, spoke shave, carving chisels, a couple smaller hand planes, may have to go back over there

I had dreams about this guy’s shed last night so I went back, here’s what I snagged, in addition to everything up top, spent $350 total…

Can any one identify the smaller Stanley plane where the iron goes edge to edge? Also not familiar with the groz block plane

This spokeshave has no name:

Picked up about 25 pipe clamps of various size including the rack and some bar/spring clamps :

Craftsman Professional router with plunge base:

Craftsman 6” bench grinder with wire wheel and stone (not shown) in addition to these varying grit wheels:

The butt chisel on the left says Witherby and the right one says Greenlee Rockford, IL

Shroder hand drill:

Couple mallets, some rockler toggle clamps, bench cookies, marking knife, various squares, Japanese saws (left the disston but I may go back). I think I made out alright?

Had a whole nother rack of smaller clamps, table saw, vices, delta planer, band saw, numerous jigs, hand drills and bits, and everything else under the sun. Tool chests, benches, a thousand bench cookies, t-track clamps

Not bad. For the hand tools that’s as cheap as I’ve seen there.

The guy with the “uptown” location on Craigslist, who goes by Al, sells a variety of good and bad hand tools. I’d make up a reason just to buy something cheap from him. He keeps most of what he finds and what he had when I visited was substantial.

I still have that jointer. Will be home tomorrow most the day.

I went to BR on Thursday but was in tow with wife and 8 month old. I think I will have another reason to go up there this week. Just gotta wait on work delivery

I hear you. I can take off work a bit early as long as it’s a typical day and not one where I’m not running around like a chicken with its head cut off :)

I heart those Stanley chisels… that’s a very nice pickup. Heck, you did fine with all of it! And yes, that’s a No. 75 bullnose plane. One of Stanley’s more useless devices unless you’re cleaning out old window glazing; that’s what I’ve used mine for most. :-)
