Hello there gang. Just a quick question. Does anyone know where I might find plans for the kitchen corner cabinets. What I am looking for are the general rules for the door widths, how far to cut back into bottom for the door and face frame. Just the general numbers and guide lines for the cabinet. Have searched the net but came up empty. Any and all help is welcome. Thanks from your Woodnut.

Check out a book on cabinets. Robert W. Lang has a really good one as does Jim Tolpin.

Get a copy of CabinetCruncher. It will set up corners for you. All you need is height, width and depth. I usually use 36 inch corner cabinets on the base and 24’s on the top. On the Flynn’s job we went with 30 inch bases. Having the book will help as well.

There are a lot of great books on this. My experience is that the corner needs to be the most accurate of all since all the others will be based on it. Good luck.
