hi fellow lumberjacks,,,im new here and need some help. hope this where i should be. I just bought a dewalt radial arm saw,,model 925, all moves up, down, angels,left,right,. my problem is the motor,,copasator is good, windings are good,,but all it does is BUZZES when i hit the switch,,,,,,im thinking the break is stuck on,,,,,if there was 1 for that year. what im looking for is a scymatic for the wiring,,,,,,,any help is welcome,,,,,thanks in advance

Have you checked to see if the shaft turns freely? Does it eventually trip the breaker? If it has been sitting for a while the shaft could have a rusty spot on it.

when i recon’d my saw I had the same problem but it was a shaft , overtightened nut issue. i would take the blade completely off and see if it will run. good luck, how old is the machine? You could try the dewalt service sight

If the RAS is an old one go to There are all kinds of manuals and advice on reworking old machines.
