you can make your own or buy the v flat sander already made( you add a motor). instead of an 18 inch sandflee you can get a vsander twice the size and its just as good. I have the 24inch and love it

Got the drum from stock room and built the rest in my hovel.
Works pretty well for less than $199.00!
p.s. Look for a 1/3 to 1/2 hp motor running at 1750 rpm for best results.
