Has anyone had trouble with Porter Cable 4212 dove tail jig. The tails and pins fit great except on the inside of the drawers the pins are exposed a little. I watched the New Yankee Work shop (dream kitchen) and Norm seemed to have the same problem.

I have not had any problems that couldn’t be solved with precise adjustments. Many times it takes many trials before I get it right. The good news is that the more I use it the less time it takes to hit the sweet spot.

Sounds like there is not enough spacing where the guide plate mounts to the front knobs. In other words add more washers so you dont cut so deep into the pins.
