Hello all,

I recently acquired a lot of lumber. So, I am willing to sell some of it. I have a lot of 4/4 cherry, 4/4 & 6/4 soft maple, and 4/4 african mahogany. The prices are going to be very low. There are also lots of 1 1/2” x 1 1/2” sticks of cherry and mahogany that are from 10’ to 14’ long. They would be great for cutting boards etc.

Send me an email if interested.I am in the Sacramento area. Sorry, but don’t have a way to ship. Must be picked up. I can help load.

Thanks, John

John, I sent you a message. I am still using the Maple that I got from you. Is this as good of a deal as that was? You do have a good eye for wood. I will let you know when I can come down and get some. Don’t seel all of it!!

I am correcting my listing. I have lots of 4/4 & 8/4 soft maple not 6/4. The boards are wide and 8’ to 10’ long.

I can send photos if interested.

Thanks, John

For ALL lumberjocks in the Nor Cal area, and even if you’re not, John has some AWESOME lumber for sale. I stopped by his place earlier today and picked up 220BF of 8/4 soft maple. It is all kiln dried and varying widths, 6-11” and 8-10 ft long. It is CLEAR , straight and flat, and thats just the maple. He also has a LOT of oak, red and white, mahogany, cherry up to 12/4 with the same widths and lengths. It is most definitely worth a call and a trip. The prices are OUTSTANDING and the ability to pick the pile is priceless. I will post some pics later as it was dark when I got home with it tonight.

Hi ken,

The only mahogany is a lot of African that is 1 1/2” x 1 1/2” , 1 3/8” x 2 3/4”, 3/4” x 1 1/2”, & 2”x 2” squares that are from 10’ and 12’ in length. However, there is a lot of them. They are all surfaced and perfectly clear. All high grade mahogany.

I also have a couple of thousand BF of very nice premium 3/4” surfaced cherry that is from 5” to 7 1/2” wide by 10’ to 12’ long.

There is about 250 BF of rustic cherry 3/4” surfaced. Quite nice stuff.

I sold most of the thick white oak on Sunday. There are a few boards left along with a few 3/4” white oak planks and a couple of 5/4×7” x 12’

Still have about 1000 BF of thick red oak 8’ to 10’.

I do not intend to sell all of the cherry and mahogany. However, there is a lot. Plenty to go around.

I also made my way to John’s shop and picked-up some great looking cherry. Thank you John for the wonderful deal, it was nice spending time talking shop with you.
