Had some felt stuck to the back of a project (kid’s school project that is), didn’t realize that some of meduim ca glue used some pieces underneath had come through the felt (long boring story there). I laid on the granite countertop in our kitchen. My wife was able to get the glue and felt off okay but now there are dull spots all over the once shiny countertop. I realize this isn’t so much a wood question but I’m hoping somebody with knowledge of ca glue can tell me: Are the dull spots residue that can be polished out to restore the shine or did the ca glue “strip” the glossy finish? I’m trying to figure out which direction to go to get it back to normal and get myself out of the doghouse. -- Dad to 5, Son of The One |
