Hi Art!
I’ve never heard of this lathe before, so I looked it up.
It’s quite impressive, but must be real expensive. Here’s a video.

Have you called your local dealers to see what exists within their dealer networks ?

Well persistence always pays off. Someone contacted me with a HAPFO COPY LATHE, and it looks like I will be buying it. It sure took a long time to find what I wanted. but one small catch is that I need a FOUR JAW STEADY FOLLOWER for it. it seems that this lathe is missing that part.—-SOOOO—Does anyone have or know where I can get a used one? I’m wondering if I could retro-fit one from a different brand to work on this lathe.—-talk to me.

Art -

Not sure if you found your steady rest but you can check our website www.hgrinc.com we get alot of different used machinery, tools and parts and may be able to help. We had a similar lathe to the one you bought not to far back.

Thanks.

Tina

I have heard bad things about cheap copy lathes very bad finishes etc maybe this is better but I would do my homework first before parting with a peanut. Alistair

I’m going to try to post a video of the lathe in action so you all can see how well it works. I couldn’t find a steady follower chuck so i had one made for 600 bucks. It works great.
