Topic tags/keywords: question router table cabinet saw left tilt

I’m considering getting a Bench Dog ProMax cast iron router table that mounts on a table saw by replacing one of the extensions. On their web site, they state that it can’t be mounted on the left of a left-tilt cabinet saw as it will interfere with the motor housing. What’s not reallly clear is if it can be mounted on the right side of the saw.

Has anyone tried this? I have a Grizzly 1023SL and this looks like the perfect solution for my small shop. Any advice would be appreciated. By the way, it’s on sale at Amazon with free shipping, something that’s a real consideration for something that’s cast iron…

Yes, you can mount it on the right side of the saw if you have a left-tilt saw it will not interfere with the blade tilt crank, the router motor is higher up and back more than the crank.
