I know.,..BAD joke…hehehehehe…Anyway..I am just about to start gluing some panels together and starting wondering about which glue to use.Now in the past I have used LN to glue everything together but a quick stop by Menards had me thinking….( I WISH they would hire people who CAN at least tell you something in stead of…Oh.I really dont know…I work here but I dont know..)....I will be gluing( pink) foam boards to wooden frames. They will be outside probaly 90% of the time and yes in all kinds of weather. There columns for an entrance to a cemetery….( I know…THE HALLOWEEN nut guy…LOL..)So let me know what you all think.Well at least I didnt stop at HD and ask a question..might still be there….LOL…I have to tell this story..!! I am putting shelves in a 45 foot trailer using TEK screws I bought at HD.Well I head back for more and noticed things have been moved around. The guy who works the area asks me if I need help,I show him what I bought and he gives me the strangest look..”Uh where did you get thes..? ” Uh…from HERE..at HD.Uh we dont sell anything like this..never have.( I notice the famous orange sticker on the box..)Really I ask..how long have YOU worked here..?? About 3 years he says….hmm..he seems confused while staring at the empty screw box..” I will check my catalog but I know we dont carry these..” as he walks away I notice that I am standing in front of the TEK screw display..I start laughing to myself as I grab 2 boxes and walk towards him….” I think they fell out of the rafters back there…!!!” I say….He looks even more confused now..!!! “Uh…where”..I stop him…I will show you the magic trick that made them appear later…I walk away and I am still laughing.

It must be hard to get good help.

Them stores is pretty big. I can understand someone missing something after only three years. And I’ve known lots of people who were unable to see anything that caused them to move their eyes right and left, or up and down. Like rikkor said, good help must be pretty rare.

Good help is hard to find – and it seems most retailers don’t think it worth the effort to look!
My wife was looking for a new hot glue gun. The ever-hovering ‘staff’ allmost jumed with joy when she asked the difference between the high temperature and low temperature models they had. Wonder if its holding power or what.
The reply,” its something about the temperature”....
Gee ya think???
Coffinmaker- I’m impressed you found someone willing to at least look for you!
