Hello I have a question about what size jigsaw do I need to cut hardwood like oak? I have a sears quarter horse that seems to not be big enough, it really has to work to cut it. I’m new to the site and just learning woodworking so any help would be great. Thank you

Just a thought, perhaps the blade is dull or has too few teeth per inch. Before buying a new saw, I would try a different blade.
