Topic tags/keywords: meeting lumberjock lee

I had the pleasure of meeting LeeinEdmonton today, he left the big city to come visit me for a couple hours this afternoon…

He builds toys as gifts for inner city kids at Christmas (and the samples he made and showed me today are amazing).
I had way too many scraps, and couldn’t see burning them all, so emailed him and asked if he could use some.

We loaded his trunk up with various hardwood pieces and offcuts, then he toured my shop and we talked a little politics, weather, construction and woodworking, and two hours disappeared!

If you get the opportunity to meet Lee, you should take it, he is an interesting man, and I hope we will see each other again. :)

I meet some fellow LJ’s this summer when I went to CA. I recommend more people doing this. It was very enjoyable for all of us.

God Bless

Good for you Randy.
I haven’t forgotten about you . I’m still chained to the porch until I get all my chores done.

Bob, I’ll be here… :)

Still lots of purpleheart if you need some…

Just finished all my wiring yesterday, a little more relocating tools and moving my clamp storage, and I will be ready to make serious sawdust.

I have to say it has been enjoyable making some improvements and additions to my shop, but I am over that now.
