Greetings Zeke,
Being a bluegrass and guitar player myself, I’ve heard this song done many ways over the years…..
It’s hard to beat David Grizman, Jerry Garcia, and Tony Rice when they all get together to pick…
Keep that good bluegrass coming…............

So ….. Zeke ….

Having gotten to about 150 GD shows, plus all the Other Ones, Dead, Rat Dog, Mickey & Friends, Phil & Friends, Weir/Wasserman, JGB, etc., etc., etc., ....

All I can say is … thanks … and fight back a tear.

I only stopped going to the shows because … well … of August ‘95. If he’d kept playing … I’d have kept going :-)

I … just miss him.

Certainly some fine flattop picking and the mandolin wasn’t bad either!
Good , send more.

Neil, I only got to see Jerry live one time, 4/1/95 at the Pyramid in Memphis. Great show!!! I’ve seen Rat Dog and Phil and Friends numerous times. I definately would have followed those guys around the states if I had the chance. I did follow Widespread Panic around for some years, and still catch the shows that are relatively close. I guess they are like my Grateful Dead, unfortunately the sound and scene has changed so much since the death of Michael Howser in 2002. Lots of frat boys and “credit card hippies” these days.

Haha, yeah about the only thing I discriminate against is “top 40” “pop”. I like all “Real” music.
