This is from a piece of 350 year old sinker Heart Pine. I am not sure what to make of this grain feature, any ideas?

I’m not sure what the technical term for it is, but it is common in pine. I’ve seen it most often in lodgepole pine.

One of the pine tables I built long ago has that pattern, crazy grain. I think it’s in my projects.
