I’ve haven’t posted a new project on LumberJocks for at least two months. A lot of that silence had to do with an unexpected response to my original Dynamo Men Lamp that appeared in the Dec/Jan issue of Woodcraft Magazine.
Woodcraft asked me to put together a special-parts kit, I did, and filling orders and responding to questions became a full-time job.

After taking a break for a week, I’ve put together a new-and-improved design and kit based on feedback from the Dynamo Men 101 builders.
For all the DJ’s who are still asking where they can get a kit—with instructions and full-size patterns—here’s the link …

In some ways, I like it better than the original.

What’s this with doing something useful?

Looks good though.

You start out doing something for the hell of it and someone talks you into working and making money.
Had to go back and check on the history of this, a fun project and I will have to make something similar
for next years White elephant Christmas gift. Thank you for sharing and giving me something to chuckle
about this morning.

That’s extra. :-)

Actually, I have one more Dynamo Men video in the cooker, and then they’re going into semi-retirement.
I’m up to HERE with the guys after shipping 150 kits for the first one.

Nice to see you had a good reply on the Dynamo series. You the man when it comes to these guys. I still think you over work them sometimes.
