what angle do I need?

I’m trying to make a doughnut out of 40 segmented rings,I have a sled for my disc sander which one end is cot at 4.5 degrees and have sanded one side of ring. what angle do I need at other end of sled to create a 4.5 degree on other side of ring? hope picture helps explain what I need.

I asume you want a wedge shape looking from an edge view. Just leave the setting the same for the second side and then flip it over to join the first half ring. That’s if I understand the question correctly.

take the number of pieces you want and divide into 360 take that number and divide buy two that is each side of piece
