Can folks please recommend favorite books for ideas (and plans, where possible) for tools, carts and other shop furniture for the small home shop? There are a ton of ideas on the web and I think I’d benefit from a book that presents a sensible collection of “best” ones.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

There are no “bests”, just whatever works for you. Find something you think you’ll use and go build it. Shop furniture is transitional at best. As your skills and projects and arsenal of tools change, so will the shop furniture.

Dan, that may be true, however there is clearly a market for these books and I’m hoping to hear from other LJs about which ones were most helpful to them.

Have your say...
