I have to ask this question as PowerMatic Service didn’t have a definite answer for me. My question is this. What is the TRUE swing of these lathes? Mine, “A” model, measures right at 20 1/2”. The “B” model at the local Tucson Woodcraft store also measures in at that same dimension. I just called Powermatic service to find out if it’s an anomaly, and the person I talked to didn’t really have an answer other than stating, “Well then, that’s a bonus!” ............. My Powermatic 3520B has a 20.5” swing. I think that is how all of them were designed.
