ITC ISSUES CEASE AND DESIST ORDER AGAINST BOSCH OVER REAXX JOBSITE TABLE SAW

On January 27, the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) ordered U.S. Customs to exclude Bosch REAXX Jobsite Table Saws, and cartridges for those saws, from entering the United States. Further, the ITC issued an order to Robert Bosch Tool Corporation saying Bosch must “cease and desist from conducting any of the following activities in the United States: importing, selling, marketing, advertising, distributing, transferring (except for exportation), and soliciting United States agents or distributors for imported [REAXX] table saws.”

The ITC has now terminated its investigation against Bosch.

... as the world turns…

Stay tuned… I personally hope Bosch eventually makes it!

What will Bosch do now?

I was at Lowe’s the day before yesterday and they still had these saws out on the floor for sale. I wonder what they’re going to do about the people who’ve already bought them.

I note that it does not address recalling previously sold saws, which might include all the saws in the supply chain. Probably all gone by now, and in any case, Bosch probably will be prohibited from supporting them.
Kind of feel sorry for those who may have bought one, if they cannot support it.

If bosch was stand up about it they would refund your purchase if you had any issues with one already purchased. They can’t support them or sell replacement parts so what else can they do?
