Hello everyone!

I am new to this forum and wanted to introduce myself. I am a general contractor for a large construction company here in the midwest (U.S). I am starting a new project that involves building wood rocking chairs/wood chairs. My goal is to sell them online since I am also a webmaster.

Looking forward to gaining some knowledge from this forum

Thanks for the warm welcome rivergirl! I think the hardest thing to do is finding the time to get my projects underway.

Hi Peter – yep – tons of talented and wise woodworkers here (no, I’m not one of them…). You will find the majority of them very helpful and usually very fast at responding to questions about techniques, tools, etc. Looking forward to seeing some of your work [so I can hijack your ideas – just kidding ;) ]
