Hey guys, new to the site and I wanted to call upon the community to help with a question.

Recently, I purchased a new Powermatic PM1000 for my 40th. Got the email confirmation that the saw shipped and then the dreadful message…”Your saw shipped however, we do not have the front and back rails and they are on back order 6-8 weeks”. Needless to say I’m not a happy camper. However, I’ve figured out that it’s only 2 pieces of angle iron that I can purchase from the big box stores. I’m getting the fence and guide tube so once I get the rails, I’ll be set until the new ones get here.

My question is, does anyone know how long the rails are? I have the other dimensions, I just need to know how long to cut them for the 50” model. I’m not sure this really matters as it probably doesnt effect anything, just wanted to keep things consistent. They look like their just short of the full length of the table.

Thanks in advance,

Joe

Did you ever find out the dimensions? I would be asking for some sort of discount or significant freebie as compensation or ask for a full refund to order from another company.

Did they ask if they could ship incomplete? I would want to cancel and buy complete from another vendor. Name names…who is the seller?
