Topic tags/keywords: festool ct22 bags

has anyone managed to reuse the paper bags for their festool vacuum?
i almost fell over when i saw the price of the 5 bags for my CT22 , $48 over here. so i thought “at that price im gonna be using the same bag over and over” but 2 months later im at my third bag already. i have only managed once to empty a bag and reuse it. but they tear so rapidly and are so hard to empty.
but then i always wait too long before checking if the bag is full, you don’t notice through the sucking power, they are good at innovating, but not when it can save us from buying their expensive bags.

They make a reusable bag. It’s pricey, but might be worth it in the long run. I don’t think it filters as well. I’ll check that out.

I have reused bags. You’re right, they won’t hold up long, but in a pinch you can get by.
