I am building a v drum sander. I have the 5/8” shaft mounted into 2 pillowblock bearings. When the motor starts the shaft slides in and out of the pillow block. I need a ? coulette with allen screw on each side of the bearings? Not sure what it is called that I need to hold the shaft in place or where to buy it. No luck at a hardware store and I asked an auto mechanic if he used such a thing he said no. Any ideas what I need to hold my shaft in place?
