————————————————————————————————————————

I am planning to buy a set of rail and stile bits.

Rockler has all their bits on sale for 25% off. When I went to their site I found that they have three different kinds of rail and stile sets. One with the bearing on the bottom, one with the bearing in the middle, and one with a bearing both in the middle and on the bottom.

Has anyone used these? Is there an advantage of one over another?

Can’t answer you there, but check woodcraft in their online clearance section right now. I just bought a whiteside rail and stile bit set for 45.00 and a panel bit for 42 from CMT.
