Cast iron ones are available from grizzly, Lee valley, lie nielsen, and benchcrafted (I think). I believe bench crafted also offers wood screw versions.

Not entirely sure what you’re asking – for vintage vises, or vintage style vises? And exactly what styles (leg, face, Moxon, wagon, shoulder…)? Benchcrafted, Lake Erie, Veritas, Lie Nielsen, Hovarter all make some really nice new stuff in a number of different styles.

Thx… I’ve been entertaining the ideal of building and recreating a vintage a bench. Don’t need it but thought it might be fun..It’s no fun if you can’t find parts….

Have your say...
