I do not own a set of these clamps right now, I have two sets of Jet clamps. I just wanted to bring it to everyones attention that these are on sale right now at Woodcraft for $99.99. They look alot like the bessey clamps and this seems to be a great deal to me. You won’t see clamps this low very often.

I picked up this set last month for $99 with free shipping and $15 off coupon and tax free online. I also own a few of the besseys. They both look pretty much the same but you can definitely tell the besseys are made from high quality materials. Also seems like the jaws on the woodrivers don’t seem to be as parallel as I would’ve liked to see. Still a great value though!

If the jaws aren’t parallel to each other wouldn’t that make them defective? I’m just saying that if that’s the case, I wouldn’t consider those clamps much of a value at all.

I agree with syenefarmer that doesn’t sound good. Would you buy them again? Do you think this is the case with all their clamps? I knew they were probably smaller, but I would mostly use them in between my Jet clamps for closer clamping after I get something clamped down.

I have a set of the Woodcraft and a number of Jet Clamps.

The Woodcraft are OK but the Jet and Bessy are a lot better. The handles on the Woodcraft are smaller so it is difficult to get nearly as much pressure on the wood. It also seems to me that the heads are a bit smaller than the Jet or Bessy.

In addition, the Jet and Bessy are a lot smoother than the Woodcraft.

I probably won’t be buying any more new clamps in the near future but would lean toward the Jet or Bessy.
