Hello again. I appreciate all the help you all have given me so far since I’ve been on this group…. an I need that help again…..
We currently hav a fairly big round dinning room table in a fairly small dinning room. I would lik to build a thinner rectangular table (possibly farm house style) to replace it. We hav matching chairs and love them so we would like to keep them an build the new table using the same type of wood that is used on the chairs so that everything would still match. The pictures are below. The table top reminds me of pine but I think the chairs might b a maple of sorts. If that is the case I’d find it odd that the table is not also maple

The chair does look like Maple but the table reminds me on Pine plywood. If you can match the finish of the chairs, I would use Maple for the table.

The table top is probably maple veneer.

The knots in the top reminds me of pine but I wanted some other opinions on it. And I do believe the top is a plywood of some kind.
