Just wanted to say hello. I have been reading posts off the forum for some time now as it seems to be the most helpful in answering my google searches so I finally made an account. Im in the process of setting up my new shop as i just moved so i have a lot of things on paper that i will post as they get going with my work bench and tool choices ect. Its a small one car garage so it wont be anything extravagant. Thanks for all the help I am sure Ill get here in advance. Any northeast guys, particularly lower new york guys have any suggestions on quality lumber yards or saw mills they use for their stock?

There’s 1 in white plains and 1 in the bronx that have a good selection. The one in white plains also has another yard further up the line. That place is ml condon. Other place in the bronx is rosenzweig .

rosenzweig is a little confusing when you go there but they have good prices for our area. getting to white plains for you is a little tougher. both places are closed on saturdays and close before 5pm

Thanks everybody. Corelz125 I have also looked into Irion out in PA bit of a drive but I like how they post the sets online with sizes amd prices and good pictures. I also have a house in NH and there are a few good places up there I will probably use also.
